Send To A Friend Adjusting the top heaters on the INT 732 to fix uneven heating

We have discovered something important regarding the top heater.  We have tried this on a few systems with perfect results.  This solves the uneven heating issue on the top heater

We noticed that the heater quartz tube can shifted which could be the reason why there have uneven heating issues.

Here is a video on what how the quartz tube are arranged (packed together and centered). Also we do not recommend not using the airflow and nozzle. The airflow and nozzle filters and disperses the heat to allow even hot air output. The video also shows how the airflow and nozzle effectively gives an even output.  Attached are also videos on how you can re-adjust his quartz tube to ideal position (quick fix). The shifting could be due shipping and movements/vibrations during usage. Note: Paper used in the test turns brown at around 220 to 240 degrees Celsius roughly the temperature range of lead free solder.

Please let me know if you need additional information Thank you.
