The palladium pen plating solution is easy to use and follows all the same procedures as rhodium pen plating.

Palladium pen plating is more efficient than rhodium plating and plates with less porosity. Lower porosity in the plated surface will improve the resistance to color change due to oxidation in the high porosity areas.

 

Palladium pen plating solution can be heated to improve the whiteness of the plating deposit.
